DESCRIPTION:The workshop will explore practical methodologies for cent
 ring Global South perspectives in human rights due diligence (HRDD)\, 
 with a focus on stakeholder engagement\, grievance mechanisms\, equita
 ble partnerships\, and bridging academic research with practice. The w
 orkshop will be carried out by Dr. Sanchita Banerjee Saxena\, who is a
  leading scholar in the field of Business and Human Rights (BHR)\, wor
 king at the intersection of social sciences\, policy\, and corporate p
 ractice. She currently serves as Academic Fellow at the Berkeley Cente
 r for Law and Business and Faculty Fellow at the Institute for Researc
 h on Labor and Employment (IRLE)\, UC Berkeley. Participation is limit
 ed to 20 attendees. Fifteen places are reserved for FAU researchers\; 
 the remaining spots are open to participants from external universitie
