Roundtable: Territorios, sostenibilidad y soberanía: desafíos de América Latina en el nuevo orden global
On November 3 at 5:00 p.m., in room FG 2.024 (Findelgasse 7/9, Nuremberg), the roundtable titled “Territorios, sostenibilidad y soberanía: desafíos de América Latina en el nuevo orden global” will take place.
This academic event aims to analyze the challenges faced by Indigenous territories and local communities in Latin America amid the transformations of the new global order. Through the study of strategic resources, due diligence frameworks, and energy transition processes, the discussion seeks to foster a critical reflection on sustainability, sovereignty, and corporate responsibility in the region.
The event will feature the participation of Miguel Vargas Delgado, Director of the Center for Legal and Social Studies (CEJIS – Bolivia); Dr. Julia Stefanello Pires; and Júlia de Sousa e Berruezo, M.A., members of the Chair of International Business, Society and Sustainability (FAU). The session will be moderated by Dr. Jaime León and Prof. Dr. Almut Schilling-Vacaflor, also from the Chair of International Business, Society and Sustainability (FAU).

Mesa Redonda: Territorios, sostenibilidad y soberanía: desafíos de América Latina en el nuevo orden global
El próximo 3 de noviembre a las 17:00 h, en la sala FG 2.024 (Findelgasse 7/9, Núremberg), se llevará a cabo la mesa redonda titulada “Territorios, sostenibilidad y soberanía: desafíos de América Latina en el nuevo orden global”.
Este encuentro académico tiene como propósito analizar los retos que enfrentan los territorios indígenas y las comunidades locales en América Latina ante las transformaciones del nuevo orden global. A partir del estudio de los recursos estratégicos, los marcos de debida diligencia y los procesos de transición energética, el diálogo buscará generar una reflexión crítica en torno a la sostenibilidad, la soberanía y la responsabilidad corporativa en la región.
El evento contará con la participación de Miguel Vargas Delgado, Director del Center for Legal and Social Studies (CEJIS – Bolivia); la Dra. Julia Stefanello Pires; y Júlia de Sousa e Berruezo, M.A., integrantes del Chair of International Business, Society and Sustainability (FAU).
