Keynote Lecture by Dr. Sanchita Banerjee Saxena (UC Berkeley Center for Law and Business) followed by a panel discussion with experts from business and rightsholder communities, including representatives from the Competence Centre for Human Rights Due Diligence.
Dr. Saxena’s keynote will draw on her forthcoming book chapter, which examines the partnership model as a key dimension of global labour governance. Her work provides critical insights into how collaborative approaches can strengthen accountability and equity in global supply chains.
Dr. Sanchita Banerjee Saxena is a leading scholar in the field of Business and Human Rights (BHR), working at the intersection of social sciences, policy, and corporate practice. She currently serves as Academic Fellow at the Berkeley Center for Law and Business and Faculty Fellow at the Institute for Research on Labor and Employment (IRLE), UC Berkeley.
